Sometimes, all that’s needed is an extension built with the highest quality materials to a building that already exists. The following are some examples of temporary building structures that extend to provide what you need.

Additional workspace – Extra space for an office, meeting room, production area etc. are available as semi permanent or temporary buildings. We use materials that are environmentally friendly, reusable and recyclable, and can also ensure your space is fully insulated, and sized to suit your required capacity. By also using our vibrant and immersive tension fabric graphics, a striking and engaging work space is easily achieved making the environment just as desirable but kinder on the purse strings than the time and expense of a permanent structure.
Temporary warehouse expansion – If you’re facing a surge in inventory, or require storage space for a particular project, we can tailor this expansion to your specific needs with our secure, insulated and lockable temporary building structures.
Covered walkways and linkways – The UK has rather sporadic weather, with many in summer complaining that radiant sunshine gives way to heavy rain in the blink of an eye. With our covered walkways/linkways, we can ensure that movement through work sites, educational settings, retail, hospitality and leisure environments, is safe and convenient for both staff and visitors during site visits.

DO YOU NEED PLANNING PERMISSION
FOR A TEMPORARY STRUCTURE?

If any of the following criteria is met, you will need planning permission:

Size – Whether permanent buildings, semi permanent buildings, or temporary buildings – anything over 100 square metres in floor area.
Usage – If the temporary structures will be used for 28 days or more.
Boundaries – If the temporary building is closer than five metres to the boundary of your site.
Land Use – If your temporary structure takes up more than 25% of the site’s total area in land.
Attached – If your temporary building structure is attached to an existing building, and it radically changes the outwards aesthetic of the structure.
Parking Space – If parking space is significantly reduced (local council decides on what’s significant).
Volume – If the temporary structure is an extension and exceeds more than 25% of the existing building.

We provide relocatable temporary facilities in numerous different sectors including Education, Health, Sport, Leisure, Hospitality and Retail. Our temporary modular structures can provide you with additional facilities such as retail solutions, exercise space, changing rooms, toilet facilities, and storage solutions to name but a few.

What length of hire period is available for these types of relocatable structures?

Quick to erect, with rental available at short notice, there is no minimum hire period for our structures so no requirement for lengthy contracts. You only hire for a duration to suit your organisation鈥檚 requirements. We pride ourselves on our flexibility and speed of delivery, with structures available for hire for all sectors for any duration from one day up to two years.

How versatile are the temporary structures in terms of where they can be located?

Our temporary modular structures can be rapidly deployed on a range of different surfaces including hard ground such as car parks, or on grass/turfed areas. They are very flexible and can be constructed on uneven ground if necessary, making them an ideal solution for awkward, smaller spaces or built-up spaces which can be difficult to reach.

How quickly can my temporary space be installed?

Depending on your requirements, in some instances your additional space can be built in just a day. Larger and more complex spaces, including additional facilities like electricity, can take longer. We aim to install as quickly as possible to minimise disruption to your staff and their operations.

Can my temporary space be used year round?

Use of your extra space can be extended to year round use with the addition of extra features such as heating and electricity, if required.
