Live events are back!
After what seems like a lifetime, events are back. Forget online tools and video platforms, 鈥榠n person鈥� events have made a very welcome return at venues and show grounds across the UK, and we couldn鈥檛 be happier!
Coming to an abrupt halt in February 2020 with the emergence of the world-wide Covid-19 pandemic, events then disappeared for 18 very long months. Event organisers and businesses across the globe did well to adapt to online provision, but nothing can match the vibe and the atmosphere of live events.
Hosted at the Long Marston Rail Innovation Centre in Warwickshire, Rail Live 2021 took place in June and signalled the light at the end of the tunnel and a glimmer of normality. The Showplace team were excited to be back on site and setting up for some of our clients. It was a privilege to work with Coombes, Peli Products and Project Control Tools at this event.
July saw the return of many more outdoor events and we were delighted to support our customers with their exhibition requirements at Cereals 2021, The Game Fair, Company Car in Action and Goodwood Festival of Speed.
With many more bookings and outdoor shows to support throughout August and September, it is an extremely busy time for us. However, we are also starting to work with clients on their indoor exhibition requirements as autumn approaches.
